Required Mods and Programs

TEAMSPEAK

GUILD CALENDAR

Links to these and all the mods we use are at www.permanentlegends.com

You Must have these installed and up and running in order to maintain membership in the guild. You will not be able to attend any guild raids without Teamspeak. (LBRS and up) If it is a run to another instance then it is up to the party leader to decide if it is a Teamspeak mandatory run.

Do not be suprised if you are not included in guild runs if you don't want to use Teamspeak.

You do not have to have/use a microphone. As long as you can hear the main caller (puller, leader) and are able to follow the instructions for the pull no mic is needed.

We will do invites for the runs directly from Guild Calender. So if you are signed up for a run then you will get an invite. If you are not signed up for the run thru Guild Calendar then you will not be able to go if it is full. We will wait 15 minutes for any member signed up that is not online. After that, their spot is forfeted to another guild member if one is avialiable.

With the number of higher level players in the guild increasing, it is increasingly important that we use these programs. It will keep the management of the guild down to a acceptable level as well as make us competitive with the other high end guilds we may be associating with.

Loot Rules

NO Ninja Looting

Accidents do happen , will be handled on individual basis, will be review by Assistant GMs & GM

Report immediately to elders, or mail details.

Record "ninja looting" with screen shots and Immediatly tell a GM. They will handle the situation. DO NOT spam the person and get your self banned. That will help no one.

Loot fair. Explan the loot rules at the beginning of the run so there is no confusion. (make a macro if you need to)

Loot should not be an issue. Discuss after passing and figure out who it best benefits.

If it is not someone from within the guild, remember their name & guild name (if they have one). Record “screen shot”, of chat, person and or items looted. REMEMBER!! Be careful of who you party with outside of guild, and remember to use the “Master Loot” feature.

The Guild standard for looting is as follows:

1. If a party member needs the item, they can have it.
2. If 2 or more members need it they they roll.
3. If nobody needs, but a players alt can use and its BOE then they can loot it with permission from the rest of the group.
4. If nobody needs and Item is not needed by an alt or it is BOP then Disenchant for end loot.
5. NO ROLLING for items to sell. If its BOE and nobody needs it then it is end loot.
6. For guild runs there is no limit to the amount of items one can get. If all mage stuff drops and the mage needs them, he gets them. No Exceptions. Next time it may be you.
7. Remember there is a difference between Need and Want. You may want an item that may be better used by another party member. That item will better serve the guild in the long run in the hands of the right person. It may even save your ass at a future time. Think with your brain not with your ego.

TABARD & CARRING THE “PERMANENT LEGENDS” NAME.

If you do not have a tabard, ask you will be supplied with one or you may purchase one. If don’t know where to get it ask.

Please conduct yourself in a proper manner (kind, pleasant manner, fair etc.) as others can see what guild you are apart of. We want our name remembered for our good guild habits / manners.

Remember. You don't only wear our tag, you represent it.

If we find that you are degrading our name or slandering the guild you will be automatically dismissed from the guild. No questions asked.

CONDITIONS ON BORROWING GOLD FROM GUILD MATES

DO NOT BORROW MONEY IF YOU CANNOT PAY IT BACK.

DO NOT ASK TO BORROW MONEY FOR AH ITEMS THEN TURN AROUND TO SELL THAT AT ITEM FOR PROFIT BACK TO AH OR ANOTHER PERSON >>>YOU BOUGHT IT, YOU WEAR IT , AND REPAY THE MONEY.

You must repay within a reasonable time frame or make payments. You must repay, there is no good reason not too.

To people who loan money to guild mates THANK YOU! Remember to discuss terms of repayment, if terms are broken report to assistant GM or GM immediately.

Nonpayment of a loan to a fellow guildie is reason for dismissal from the guild.

SELLING ITEMS TO GUILDYS

No selling items for full price to guild mates, it will be a very very discounted price or FREE, if you want to sell it, use AH. The guild is not your private AH. (If you do so you may be removed from guild without warning)

GUILD BANK ITEMS

Your ranking must be Member or Above. (May be ok special cases for lower than members, will be handled on individual basis)

Asking for an item you must have a need, and that character must be in the guild. (Hence Guild Bank)

Selling that unbound item for profit of and you will be removed from guild. (The items were graciously donated by fellow guild mates, if an items stands in inventory for a long period of time and room is needed it may be sold for profit, money will be deposited in Guild Bank.)

Guild Bank may be found by go to www.wowcompanion.net use the search function to find guild name, character will be listed below. Also if you use Duckybank then the guildbank contents will be avialiable in-game.

RECRUITING

Due to the mass influx of new members, starting July 15th all guild recruiting can only be done by the GM and the Assistant GMs

If you know anyone who wants to join us then let one of us know.

CHAT

Joking around is cool, questionable subjects can be touched lightly, but keep it under control, you know when to stop.

If you don’t like swearing turn on the in game filter, but please try to keep guild chat clean.

Take constructive criticism for what it is from guild mates. Your character and choices will create a personalize character of your own, but don’t be afraid to learn from other experiences.

Racism or harrassment will result in immediate guild dismissal. No questions asked.

GROUPING

Try to group and quest as much as you can with guild mates.

If nobody is available for group, seek outside of guild for a group. (PUG)

Do not complain that fellow guild mates will not help you. That can be taken in many different ways, as we all have things to do.

Just because some guild mates will not or can not help you at the moment, doesn’t mean that PL is not helpful. Questing at a higher level can be difficult to succeed, cost a lot of time and energy & gold to complete. Grinding for mats to sell and or money to buy items takes a long time.

This is your opportunity to find new recruits for the guild that would be around your level. Note: New recuits should be directed to the GM of one of the Asst. GMs.

Be patient; use Calendar Mod to setup a time “event” to complete quest or help with something specific, advertise for help.

DO NOT make enemies with other guilds. You may want to get to know them eventually, and it may hurt the guild as a whole.

Just because you are in a guild that is not a free pass for instant help. You must work hard to get to your highest level.

GUILD RUNS

Dont Ninja from your guild. (see above)

Using Teamspeak is a must for all guild runs. Expecially raids. If you dont have a microphone, you can just listen to the plans and strategys. Please follow the leaders (caller, pullers) instructions. Plans may be discussed but must be followed once a strategy is decided upon. If you dont want to use Teamspeak don't be suprised if you are not allowed in the run.

Communicate with your guildies. We are not just friends, we are family.

Looting rules should be followed as stated above

Any issues that happen during guild runs should be immediatly addressed to the GM or Asst. GMs. Do not point fingers as it will only end in conflict.

Teamspeak should be quiet during raids at all times. Only the caller (puller) should speak. The healers may call out healing rotations also. Some exceptions may apply. eg...calling out for healing, unexpected adds, etc...

All guild members should have the same goal in mind: To defeat an instance as a group and to reap all the rewards that come with it.. No one person can do it. It HAS to be a group effort.

Don't blame the tank. He doesn't have any Intellect. -webmasters note- Is that a cheap shot at me?? -Anna

Have fun and just enjoy the game.
